I love P.F. Chang's and all the Shops at Friendly which are only about 10 minutes from here.

Grocery stores are so convenient! Food Lion is about 5 minutes from here along with CVS and Dollar General. Walmart is 5 minutes away as well along with Lowes.

When I bought my house I liked the fact that it was out of the way and give me a country vibe even though I'm only minutes from the city 

Greensboro is a wonderful place to rise a family. It has great parks and cultural centers 

Nice neighborhood to walk thru after a long day. 

I enjoy going to north east park in the summer to swim. I also love the fact that there is a strawberry farm less than a mile away where I get all my vegetables from each summer.

I love the fact that there are two gyms less then 8 minutes away, no excuse! Also if I wanted to just have a spa day it's less than 10 minutes away.

My utilities are thru Duke Energy for electric which in the winter range from 40 to 60 dollars. In the summer it's about $80. Gas is thru Piedmont Natural Gas summer is around 10 dollars, in winter months around $80.  Water and trash pick up is from city of Greensboro. I have never had a bill over 40 dollars.

When I bought the property I was drawn to the fact it was located in a cul-de-sac. It was and is perfect. This charming home had so many features that I loved such as three bedrooms, two and a half baths, one-car garage, 9 foot ceilings on the main level, vaulted ceiling in the owner's suite.  The hardwood floors and fireplace made the home feel so cozy. The best part were the granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and the fenced in backyard.

The Triad area is wonderful for its people, great food, major entertainment events and one of the best places to start a family. 

A few other things that I can mention are the convenience of being centrally located to all major highways, shopping centers, gas stations, fitness centers, local colleges and public/private schools and some of the best churches and restaurants.

I love to go for walks, watch movies and so many other things downtown at Center City Park. 

Of course I like different things, I enjoy going to church, exercising and shopping and they are all located within minutes to this beautiful home.

My utility cost are better than I expected. Duke energy sends a statement monthly showing how my home's electricity is lower than the homes in the community.

We can jump on any highway and eat at one of many great restaurant. Our favorites are Outback, Logans ,Olive Garden and all fast food restaurants! Or stay out in our neighborhood and eat at Bill's Pizza or have Domino's deliver.

Several gas stations within 5 miles or Food Lion or Walmart 10 miles away.

We were drawn to this area because it's a nice, quiet country living with convenience of the city near by.

This area is so wonderful because its located close enough to drive to the coast or mountains in just a day.

Few other things are we have friendly, helpful neighbors. Nearby churches.

We like to go walking at the nearby track or going to one of the many gyms.

The Best Lender I've Worked With

You know as a real estate agent, I am constantly meeting and working with mortgage lenders.  Everyone is nice and great and knowledgeable until they aren't lol
Well, I had a transaction that was dead in the water because the buyer's original lender fell off the face of the earth without telling us he was leaving. Well let me tell you about Debbie Hukill of Starkey Mortgage.

The buyer was set to close on the 12th of the month and around the 7th *Poof* *Vamoose* the lender was gone...I mean dude put on Harry Potter's Invisibility Cloak!  What am I supposed to do with this?!?!?!? My client is calling me for answer that I don't have.  I went to their office and the branch manager had no sense of urgency and like most managers, didn't seem to know where to start.  Okay, think Ayesha, think...and just like that the LORD to call Debbie.  I called, gave her the quick rundown of events.  She met my buyer the same day and we were clear to close within...

about 8 business days!
Say What!?!?!?

Yep, she worked it out!  She came in, took the loan from another company (who didn't send over the FHA file for several days) and still got it closed before the end of the month!

Now, if you have never had deal flat-line 50 yards from the finish line, congrats, keep up the good work.  This was the first time it was a lender issue and I'm so thankful for Debbie and her team!
